We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has walked alongside City Community Church financially during our first four months!  It's honestly humbling to all of us when anyone willfully chooses to give something they value so that the vision of CityCom can be realized.

Honduras:  Thanks for the Toothbrushes!

Nathan & Trish and Erik & Mandy are on their way home from a short, but powerful trip to La Ceiba, Honduras.  Many stories to share over the coming weeks and months, but we want to say a huge thank you to all of you who brought toothbrushes and toothpaste for the kids in La Ceiba.  It's hard to believe, but something as simple as a toothbrush can make a huge difference in a child's life.  We'll be sharing much more with you very soon about how CityCom is getting involved with what God is already doing in La Ceiba, and how you can join those efforts.  Who knows, maybe you'll even end up going there yourself!

New Series Starts Next Week

Next Sunday we launch the third and final phase of our Imagine series called "Imagine a Purpose."  In this series we will explore what it looks like for the church to interact with the world around us.  It's not just enough to come to service on Sunday, or even build healthy relational community within the walls of the church.  God has called us to be His hands and feet in this broken world.

What injustices permeate our world?  What is God's heart for the poor, the orphan, and the widow.  What is the role of God's people in addressing the broken reality we see all around us?  We will all be encouraged and challenged to respond to what God is really saying.  We hope you'll join us on the journey, and bring someone with you!

CityCom Trip to Honduras

Please pray for Nathan & Trish, and Erik & Mandy as they travel this Tuesday through Friday (6/9-6/12) to La Ceiba, Honduras.  They will be connecting with Mission of Mercy to look into possible partnerships for City Community Church in the city of La Ceiba.  You never know, you might be travelling there yourself in the near future to help make a difference in an entire community in this Central American country.  Lots of stories and opportunities to come!
